We stayed at the hip modern Waterfront Hotel, on the waterfront ( of course !) in between Valletta and Sliema, the Chelsea of Malta. Guests are mostly business people who want efficiency - but we liked the balconies overlooking the bustling harbour and the tiny swimming pool up on the rooftop where we sat drinking whilst the sun went down. Locals come to the Waterfront as it is THE place for pizzas.
